I didn't know that Todd. Respect! I could never work on a sub. I get claustrophobic whenever I go of a tour of one. I would freak out if it was full of people doing shit and it was actually underwater.
Well once it submerges you don't have a choice. We did have one guy freak out and try to open one of lower hatches before. We were several hundreds of feet under water at the time. He never would have been able to open the upper hatch though.
