Attn UFC: Buy Nick a House

Or at least get him a good realtor (I don't even think Nick knows what a realtor is...)

This kid is ratings gold and instead of getting him a proper handler, paying for his

sparring partners and making sure he has all his needs taken care of, you make fun

of his social ackwardness and (possible) psychological deficiencies.

He needs you, granted, more than you need him but I believe with the proper

guidance and people around him, he can change. He seems to be able to do

triathlons just fine so I think he just needs help with basic living skills, dealing

with press and having someone with him 24/7 to make sure he is where he is supposed to be.

Is he worth all this trouble and money? Yes. Will other fighters be jealous of

his special treatment? Who cares they are not Nick Diaz and they don't spend

most their waking life training for mma, xterra, triathlons..... Cardio just doesn't

show up at your doorstep.

He needs better people around him and you guys have the $$$ and Nick is special

(possibly "special.")

GSP, Kos, Fitch are about as exciting as

Nick/Mayhem/Brock and Chael are about the only enlgish speaking

fighters that can cause tremendous interest by their personality alone.

I think you should require Chael to "mentor" young Nick as part of the

next round of contract negotiations. Get a reality show to follow Chael

and Nick around as they go on a drinking tour of Rio. Nate should also

make frequent appearances I am sure all will end well.

But seriously, get Nick what he needs. Tuck the ego for the sake of the

fans and get him what he wants.

 I read that as

"Buy Nick a Horse"

I agree on a very basical level. Phone Post

Horse requires no driver's license great idea.

It's LUPUS! Or delusions. Perhaps LUPUS & delusions?

Sock Cutter -  Isn't Chael a realtor? Problem solved!! Phone Post

We need Nick to have less trouble not more.

BUY THIS MAN A HOUSE BLAF

BrianStannFan - Horse requires no driver's license great idea.

He can keep it at his house as well!

Yeh, would be awesome if he would be able to make 1 mil off of one fight. Plenty enough $$ to buy a house. Oh wait, he DID have that opportunity, and blew it.

What kind of organization would spend 100k's on promoting a Nick Diaz fight and not send someone to make sure he has a passport and valid driver's licesnse to travel with?

Granted it is Nick's responsibilty but reality is reality: I would have an assistant go to Cali and see all was in place and hang with Nick until he was at the venue.

How much would that possibly cost compared to lost money hyping a fight that will never take place?

Nick and Chael as co-hosts of TUF Brazil sounds awesome.

Not sure the homes he is talking about are 1 million.

His MLS search criteria would look something like this:

(1) no homless guys looking for cigarette butts outside sfr

(2) patio furniture

(3) fountain

(4) stable (for his horse that DFW will present him at his real estate closing)

This is like 400k max in this economy (all cash deal perhaps less).

Nick didn't go to school for that shit, he doesn't know anything about buying a house. I support this thread. Phone Post

That's actually a very good point.

I thought he was from the streets. Maybe he can do an exchange program.

DFW Nick also needs to be granted a UFC scholarship to attend school in any and all subjects which he is currently deficient.

Since he will soon be a UFC champ, you want to be able to go the Rich Franklin "UFC champs are college educated right."

Maybe Rich could begin post haste tutoring young Nick in math and any other subjects he is competent in.

Dana just remember:

^ LOL

Might as well buy him a hearse after what GSP is going to do to him.

Ha. Sorry couldn't resist. Phone Post

Layzie, get this to Diaz.

I volunteer my services to find Nick a house.

Reach out to me for my contact info if he is interested. I've been in Real Estate since 2004.

I can make this really easy for him. Phone Post

What type of adult can't show up to an airport on time with months of advance notice?

I love the guy's fighting style but the UFC holds no responsibility for his idiotic behavior prior to 136. Cesar Gracie should have been taking care of the passport, flights, etc, since Nick seems to be that incompetent.
