TWO WRESTLING MATS in a FULL SIZED GYM
DOUBLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT
BODY STRIKES – TAKEDOWNS – SUBMISSIONS are ALLOWED
Two Referees on each Mat.
No Neck Cranks, Heel Hooks, Slamming or Head Strikes.
Trophys awarded to 1st - 2nd - 3rd place and Certificates Awarded to ALL Competitors.
DIVISIONS: ( Weight, age and skill Divisions)
MENS BEGINER – 1 year or less total training ( 3 Min Matches)
MENS OPEN – Over 1 year training - Amateur only ( 4 Min Matches)
KIDS & TEENS – Divided by age groups (3 Min Matches)
Weight divisions to be determined day of competition
No knees or kicks to legs for kids and beginners divisions

$45 all other
Free T-Shirt for all who Pre-Register
SPECTATORS:
Free for kids 8 and under
$3 for Military
$3 for youth 8 to 17 yrs.
$8 all others
EQUIPMENT:
Shorts/ T-shirt or Traditional Martial Arts attire
Cup and Mouthpiece mandatory
Gloves will be provided or bring your own
Wrestling or Martial Arts shoes optional
Wrestling head gear, Knee/elbow pads & shin guards optional
**Knee pads mandatory to use knee strikes ( Will be provided if needed)

Exit Basilone Rd. - Enter Camp Pendleton/ San Onofre gate - Follow Basilone Rd. a few miles to School of Infantry - Gym is on left side of the road.
This is the 4th Annual California Pankration Championships. We are expecting at least 100 competitors of all ages, shapes and sizes. Last year we had 72 competitors Packed in a Commercial Martial Arts School. We now have suport from Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton and our venue is a full sized Basketball Gym. Pass the word to keep this going.
