The U.S. BJJ Nationals took place in Carson, California on September 12 and 13. The AZSBJJF Schools had a total of 38 medals!
The Standout for the State of Arizona was Sarah Black (GD Jiu-Jitsu/Nova Uniao), who won her weight class, and the open division. Sarah had 6 matches, winning 5 by submission. The AZSBJJF President, Wellington Dias, took 3rd place in the Black Belt/Adult/Feather Division, and Mackenzie Dern won the Blue Belt/Feather/Female.
