Bachelor party in Montreal...TME

On the flight from Florida up to Montreal with my buddies for a weekend bachelor party. Any locals have any warnings/suggestions? Good/bad bars, strip clubs, etc? Any help is appreciated amigos. Phone Post 3.0

The casino is cool, but they charge you for drinks. They don't have cocktail waitresses, you have to get up and get the drink yourseld.

Old Montreal is cool (Vieaux Montreal).

Only go to strip clubs that allow friction dances. There is one (a big named club) that doesn't allow them. Waste of money. I don't remember the name of that specific club.

To eat check out any of these places. If you're not sure google them:

I recommend Mechant Boeuf in the old port. Chic place, nice crowd. Good food

M-Burger downtown. More or less the same vibe as Mechant Boeuf. Gourmet burgers

Dolcetto old port. Italian

Bottega pizzeria in little italy

Imadake on St Catherines for Ramen

Joe Beef on notre dame.

Au Pied de Cochon is world famous.

And Moishe's if you're looking for a good steak house.

Check out Swartz's for smoke meat if that's your thing. Everyone goes crazy for that shit but I don't eat it.

If you're feeling fat you can always swing by Chez Claudette on Laurier for some poutine. Good place to check out after a night of clubbing. I think they never close.

So many others but these are the ones I frequent

Heard Super Sex is where it's at Phone Post 3.0

TOP TIP - when you get a friction/lap dance, the dancer charges you per song and will keep dancing until you tell her to stop. That means you are on the hook for paying for each song that she danced. You have to tell her to stop after one song if that is all you want to pay for.

By the way, get poutine at least once, it is actually really good.

Strips :

Long time I don't go to a strip joint, but i'll just tell you what I remember. The best strips are outside the island. But stay DT. Super Sexe and Wanda's probably have the hottest chicks, but I'm pretty sure they don't allow contact. Any strips besides those are basically the same. I recommend Chez Paree. But there' also Club Downtown and Super Contact.

There are dozens of massage parlours in the city. But I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE : www.lepenthouse.com/?

St-Laurent, North of St-Catherine all the way up to Rachel is fun, good bars and clubs. Kama Sutra (Just off Prince Arthur near St-Laurent) is a fun strip club in that area.

Crescent is another fun street, lots of bars and clubs too. Bachelor parties usually end up on these 2 streets.

Enjoy, we're a nice chill city and we party lots. Oh and funk samurai's food suggestions are great.

DRANK:

What's your scene?

Rouge on St Laurent is an absolute shit place but for some reason it attracts single women of all types. Really good pick up spot. Any place next to it is more or less the same. You have pinq taco, bside, gogo lounge. I hate these places but there's no cover and women. So go figure.

If you want to go hard, and by go hard I mean spend money, you have Globe, Maccaroni Bar and Buonnanotte. Chic super clubs. Very hot girls. You won't get in if you're wearing khaki's and thong sandals.

If you're into the house/dance scene there's New City Gas in Griffintown. Huge place. Mixed crowd. UFC hold their weigh ins there I believe.

Last time I was there for a bachelor party several years ago. We went to super sex and all I remember is the groom being whipped with his own belt by one of the strippers on a stage in the middle of the room.

It was a fun time :)

If you guys can get there early, or can go during a weekday, I recommend the go-kart track they have there. Fun times. Phone Post

Sweet guys. Will share with my buddies and post back comments. Just landed in Atlanta and have an hour layover. More vote ups are being passed out!

Also, the 1oz makers mark minis we took onto the plane was a GREAT idea... Phone Post 3.0

Some good advice on here already, I dont have much to add other than have a blast! Montreal is my favorite place to go for a weekend.

Probably a little late but being able to speak a little french goes a long way.

Thanks man. Luckily, two of the guys in our group are fluent. I will definitely let you know how it goes. Phone Post 3.0

There are 2 main party streets and it is useful to know the distinction.

St. Laurent is much cooler and trendier, but also higher standards ie. it will be much tougher for American tourists to pull pelt from a St. Laurent bar. Think South Beach.

Crescent is fun but Phone Post 3.0
