So.. I'm FINALLY getting back into training again! (Yay for me!) I am going to class tonight at a new school new me (new to me not new school) Tonight is no-gi night, but the next 2 days they train JJ they do Gi BJJ. I've never even tried ON a gi... let alone trained in one. I'm excited, and interested to see the difference once I actually get to that point.
What can you experienced BJJers tell me about the differences, when all I've ever known is no-gi? Also, I'm just okay at that as it is.. not consitant enough. :S
Any good tips on how to hide my out of shapeness? lol That's one good thing bout the Gi I suppose, my big gut won't be as easy to spot as in a rash guard! lol
I'm excited to try Gi BJJ for a change though, and really, just to get back to training again! I miss it!
