I bought a carry pouch for my rat terrier when she got old. She could still go on walks with the younger dog, but would get tired and had trouble keeping up, so I got the pouch to carry her when she got tired on our walks. After she died I then discovered the pouch was useful for the younger dog as he was absolutely terrified of thunder and fireworks. So if we had a storm roll through, or it was a holiday evening, I would put him in the pouch and carry him around the house with me, or just let him sit in there instead of frantically trying to merge himself into my existence. I’ve never seen a dog so scared of thunder.
My border collie was terrified. We would find him hiding and shaking in the shower when the thunder came.
A dog named Travis…well done.
We had blue eyed, white with red freckles bully pup at the shelter a while ago. We named him Todd…the white guy.
