My initial reaction is that he's going to murder some fools. Not sure how the weight cut will affect him though. Didn't he already have a crazy low body fat %?

If he loses Muscle he will do good. If hes cutting then it wont look good.
Luckily the UFC doesnt know how to build fighters. So everyone in the top 10 is pretty old or has miles on them.

Lose some weight? You guys act like cutting calories and dropping muscle in a healthy way is impossible. When in reality it's extremely difficult to maintain muscle mass with that low of a body fat percentage without steroids. If he eats 300 less calories a day he's gonna be roughly 10lbs lighter in 10-12 weeks.

I think this is a good move for him. One of the things I noticed over time was how large and muscled he got at LW. I think that played a part in his gassing out in his last few fights. Losing some muscle should help him with his cardio and speed if he does it right. I'd like to see him perform the way he did when he first came to the UFC. That Barboza was a monster!
