True, it was a quick stoppage but Vale was definitely not protesting.
Vale was almost a fraud.

there were a few pro-wrestlers who could actually fight back in that era: Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, Kasuzhi Sakuraba etc.
Bart Vale was not one of those guys, it’s amazing he actually believed his own hype.
Christ, Vale was shit.
Vale was listed as 34 in that fight but was actually more like 40. The reflexes were not there. His age, like his career and reputation, was a sham.
