Hadn't seen this a bit and saw it posted on youtube.
"Rutten's taking over!! Rutten's taking over!!"
Still remember that line.
Nice.
I wish the Bas Rutten career set had his full UFC fights...
A lot of pancrase and no 2 ufc fights?? That's missing a big piece. I liked Bas's comeback fight in 2006 too. That was just fun to see him come back. Guy he fought was tough and took a lot of punches!
I think he couldn't get the rights to show the full UFC fights, only highlights. It definitely sucks, but it's a great dvd set regardless. The commentary kind of reminds me of the early Pride dvds, with the commentary being recorded after the events took place. There was something special about hearing Bas talk over the fights while seeing him in someone's corner giving instructions.
I need to snag that.
For later
I love this fight, and this event. TK put up a helluva battle.
This was at the time the first live UFC ppv available in Canada in almost three years.
Great memories, great fight. Thanks.

Excellent point, Pro Ice. Kohsaka probably faced THE best list of opponents of any heavyweight of his generation.
I remember watching Bas's UFC fights but it has been a long time. Thanks for the post.
