Battlefield franchise lost me with their bf4 bullshit when it launched.
What was so bad about BF4? I never understood what people were, and still are, crying about. It seemed great to me.
It was a shit show, the game was obviously rushed out to make a release date. It was buggy, netcode was shit which led to dying behind cover, random crashes. The game needed at least another 6 months of development before it should have been released.
However, after a year of patches, it became one of the best games ever IMO.
It's funny that me and all the guys I played with never experienced all this shit show we kept hearing about.

Season pass and the fact they had ‘expansion packs’ already created before the game even came out PISSED me off…
An expansion pack fucken EXPANSES on the game; IE; making it better, BF2 did it with their Special Forces features. When BF3 came out, they came out with that season pack bullshit, I paid for the first 2, only getting very few levels and basically nothing else that 'expanded the game" I bought BF4, but at that time, my internet was so bad when I moved, I gave up on all gaming at that time for about a year and a half, so I honestly cannot even remember it that much…
EA taking their shit off steam and using ORIGIN also ruined it for me, I DID NOT want 2 FUCKEN SAME PROGRAMS running on my computer. Steam was the original, and the best, should have just kept it on there, but NOOOO… my Origin account is now hacked and gone, so both BF3 and BF4 are gone from me…
Looks fun and I definitely will buy but I miss helicopters and was hoping for Vietnam Era game
Trailer blows. Makes it seem cartoony and more Call of Duty-like.really destroys any excitement I may have had for the game.
That said, it's still Battlefield and they seem to always come through.
I too really wanted Vietnam. So many possibilities, and the Battlefield Nam expansion was fantastic.

Say what you want but the bf franchise sets the standard for smooth gameplay and graphics imo. Bf1 was outstanding. If you don’t think that looked incredible then you are ot to lunch.
