As Zuffa continues to wage war against piracy one of their partners has thrown in the towel. Getty Images has decided to open up their library of 35 million images to the public through an embedding process.
This includes the Zuffa library of images.

I love the UFC but I swear sometimes all I picture is the "Just Bleed" guy sitting in his couch at home with money flying out of a cut in his forehead. These days that is probably a more accurate logo for the business.

The article quotes Getty's VP of Business Development but he contradicts himself a bit. He say's the change is more about public use and is not for commerce. Then he says this should help bloggers. Most blogs run some sort of ads so they are wholesale publishers. He also say's they wasted a lot of money suing bloggers without the resource to pay fines.
