I've done this one many times. It's great IMHO.

3 lbs. eye of round roast

3/4 cup honey

2 tbsp granulated garlic

2 tbsp kosher salt

2 tbsp cracked black pepper

Thanks man,

Pineapple teriyaki flavor love this flavor ever since my first to alien beefjerky in Baker CA

Want beef jerky?  There’s plenty you know.

4 parts soy sauce to 1 part Worcestershire sauce, add a bit of liquid smoke. Cut meat and soak in fridge overnight.

Meat is easier to slice cleanly if slightly frozen.

Use orange juice in your mix of liquids

this is what we do every time. It always turns out great.

The rub is something we make at work. I can send some to anyone who wants it. It’s my favorite rub on pretty much any meat I eat; including that cawk of course.

I get two decent size roasts at Costco for around $20.  Put it a freezer for a few hours to make easier to cut into thin slices.  Then put into ziploc bags for a couple days to marinate with liquid smoke, worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce.  Then put in dehydrator for about 8 hours and thank me later.

My post was directed as a brine the day prior, as I’m sure is obvious.
