Elaine Paiva da Silva, 27 years old, went to the police in Brazil and confessed she helped kidnapping and murder Priscilla Belfort who is the sister of Vitor Belfort.
Priscilla went missing in January of 2004 right before Vitor was scheduled to fight Randy Couture for the UFC Light Heavyweight title at UFC 46 on 2/1/04. It was very courageous of Vitor to not back out of the fight considering the circumstances.

Very, very sad. I remember watching him come to the cage in UFC 46 wearing a shirt with his sister's face on it. Couldn't help but root for him.
