After the announcement of the broadcast of UFC fights by Rede Globo, a new feature promises to stir the market's national MMA: the month of March 2012 will mark the debut of the reality TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) in Brazil.

The protagonists are the fighters Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort, who have met at UFC 127, and will command two teams of fighters in reality.

So silva fights belfort again instead of chael Phone Post

What???? This makes very little sense in my opinion. And I'm a silva supporter. Phone Post

wait wait wait. What? Phone Post

anderson vs chael is only fight that makes sense for the belt. let vitor and palhares do TUF Brazil, Dana make this happen! Phone Post

No. No. No. Hell no. No. Wait.....No. Phone Post

Quack quack.

Silva is not going to fight several months after freaking March you idiots. He'll fight Sonnen, THEN do TUF. I'll bet he won't even fight Vitor and it'll just be about the show (there's no way a show that's possibly only going to air in Brazil will be used to hype a title fight to the West).

Wtf?! Though I think this fight would be a lot different than last time... There's another fight that makes WAY more sense! Phone Post

Wtf. He's not gonna fight chael because he beat him, but he can fight vigor who he beat faster and more recently than chael. Phone Post

Good thing its just a rumor, that would be stupid as shit

You know, this makes sense. This may be correct, in which case I retract my quacking.

Gobulcoque - If this is true I don't see how anyone could respect Anderson now. What a joke if Belfort gets a rematch before Chael. Stann is a waaaay bigger win than Donkey punching a 170 lb fighter.

QUACK QUACK.

Are you seriously stupid enough to believe Silva will wait until AFTER MARCH to return to the Octagon? Fuck MMA fans are stupid. It's more likely than not he won't even fight Belfort. They both just happen to be the two most recognizable fighters in Brazil by FAR.

You guys are so god damn dumb sometimes Phone Post

THIS TUF IS LACKING SONNEN!!! Phone Post

Markos - Good thing its just a rumor, that would be stupid as shit

So Anderson thinks Belfort deserves a rematch but not Chael??....just lol.

Markos - Good thing its just a rumor, that would be stupid as shit

Well, it would be a big hit in Brazil, where both fighters are hugely popular.

Doesn't make sense otherwise.

Slowshot - Quack quack.

Hate420 - So Anderson thinks Belfort deserves a rematch but not Chael??....just lol.

Where in that article did it say they're going to fight? Silva and Belfort are the only truly famous MMA fighters in Brazil (Silva especially) so the UFC probably wants them to front this project to help build the brand.

Matt Hughes and Rich Franklin never fought each other (weight classes or not, they were never intended to fight each other despite the show) and most likely these two won't unless Belfort finally gets some big wins. Why is it so hard to understand that this show is being FILMED in March and Silva is expected to return to the Octagon in February/March 2012?
