A number of members of the UG have made it remarkably apparent that coverage of Bellator in the UG Blog has been wanting.
If there is anyone who wants to do some writing for the blog, let me know?
We already have a commitment from an awesome UGer to do a once a week preview of the upcoming show.
Other compelling content could be profiles of notable figures in the league, a pro wrestling tie in, beefs, and, well, what do you think would be good?
This is a mom and pop shop (Chris is the mom) so our budget for the effort is 0, and we are not expecting Ben Fowlkes, but you byline plus twitter etc and voice would get a lot of eyeballs, and if you love Bellator, might be a cool way to express it.

I am an experienced editor, but don't want the copy to be so inept I have to do a wholesale rewrite. You have to have a reasonable facility with written English, and above all, be passionate about the subject.

Ok when schools over next month ill sent you some bellator articles bc im swamped with work. Or would i have to start now and nexxt month be too late!
mixedmartialmike - I would love to. I am by no means an mma expert (never trained in anything) but have been a fan for years and do watch all the Bellator events.
Would be a privilege to help out any way I can.
Also, I wrote the candidate profile on Punkass for the hall of fame site so you've seen my writing, Kirik.
Another idea...how about a random MMA related article every week. Maybe one week the focus is on new camps and gyms. The next week maybe a fighter making they're debut and they have an interesting back story etc.

Good idea Kirik, you and the staff can screen some submissions and then choose the ones considered to the best for regular writeups. I'd submit something but I don't I'd have enough free time to do so.
