Bendo was impressive against Awad with his relentless takedowns and not looking tired and not breathing hard at all.
With the amount of work he put out along with Awad putting up a good fight and really making Bendo work, both guys actually showed really good cardio.
Neither looked spent after all the takedowns and takedown defense that was shown.
Khabib and McGregor both looked way more spent by the beginning of the 3rd round.
Khabib probably wouldn’t have looked as tired fighting a guy ranked around #40 either.
Bendo did indeed look great.
Also 155 and lighter are weight classes where someone outside of UFC is probably just as good as the UFC counterparts.they said the same thing during pride/UFC,UFC/wec,ufc/strikeforce.

I don’t know what Awad is ranked at but work is work and it’ll get anyone tired.
You can work a takedown on a grappling dummy over and over and it will get you tired.
So I don’t know where you would rank a takedown dummy at.
Bendo is awesome! It had me thinking the other day how would he have done against Khabib? When Bendo was dominating. Khabib has a nasty single leg, but Bendo has great balance and a good TDD, plus he has great submissions, has good cardio, and is durable.

I disagree. I don’t think he beats anyone in the top 10. Nate is 10 and Ianquinta is 9... he loses to both of them imo

He could wrestle fuck Nate and McGregor. Aquinta is a tough fight for anyone. Gaethje, Poirier would also be a tough fight but he can also beat them.

awad is no easy fight for anyone, I'm glad he looked good because he's looked deteriorated in his last few bouts
