$200k PLUS sponsorships!
The sponsorship money won't be as big as it would be in Bellator though because no one watches Road FC. But still better than the reebok deal.

Well if he went to Road FC, he would easily be the biggest star of that org, so I think he would do quite well sponsorship wise. But yeah, no matter where he signs hell easily make more than what the reebok deal is paying him.

This is just a first offer though, if hes real about testing the market Im sure hell be getting phone calls from just about everyone. Hell end up doing well.

That might just be what this is about and why he said hed retire in the octagon/UFC. He might just be sick of the Reebok pay structure and wants to start getting real money. Figures he can go out to another org for a while to bank a bunch of dough (he seems smart enough to do well with his money), then go back to the UFC for a "farewell" run. Smart if you think about it. He got his name built up in the WEC/UFC, then uses that to go be a star in another org and make a shit load of money, and then comes back for one more run and to retire in the best known org so theres no "couldnt hack it in UFC, fought in retired in Scrubby Dubby Fight League, blah blah" attached to him.

Kinda depends on the term of the contract but what he's making now seems low Phone Post 3.0

Fucked up that guys like Brandon Rios and Devon Alexander can pull a million + /per fight. Phone Post 3.0

Bendo will be getting much more than 200k lol. Especially if that's the life of the contract Phone Post 3.0

When he was on the champion contract with UFC I believe he made 110/110 plus sponsor, thats a lot of bling considering he defended that belt like 9 times.

Saying that, he is on a winning streak and should be in a contender bout for the LW title.

But he hasn't won a lightweight fight in like 18 months. Phone Post 3.0

I still think ONE will offer him the biggest deal and set up him vs Askren. Phone Post 3.0

There is a reason why they said $200,000 contract and not $200,000 per fight. It's like how the TUF winner technically gets a "six figure contract" but still make pretty shitty money.

How did he manage to ride out his contract? I thought the UFC harasses you constantly when you're close to the end. Phone Post 3.0

Agreed but in Korea Bendo could be a legit star of the sport and potentially get a tonne of sponsors. Phone Post 3.0

This. With the language they used hell I'll offer anyone on this site a $200k contract

Ingrained Media - That language sounds like $200K come fight for us and you will make that. Ben has to make more than 200K a year fighting for Zuffa. So they would not even need to match that offer.
He makes about that much. 48/48 plus 4$ in Reebok money. Phone Post 3.0

You are distorting the facts. He has been fighting WW since Feb 2015. His previous weight division is a non-factor.

So the poster is correct that he is on a winning streak.

Overall he has only loss 3 of his last 10 fights. All three were from guys who either became champions or is a top contender.
No no no, he said he should be in a contender bout at lightweight. So the weightclass he's fighting at is not a non issue. Phone Post 3.0

And there was 0 distortion in those facts. Phone Post 3.0

pretty vague language.

He obviously hasn't been offered that contract on paper yet.

hooke - throw in a Kia Sedona and Hyundai Sonata and we got a deal.
Lol Phone Post 3.0

"we are interested in a 10 fight contract totaling an unprecedented $200,000"

I'd hate to see him Askren himself, but if all he cares about is money at this point more power to him. He has a family and has already had the gold, nothing to do now other than secure his future.

Carson's Corner radio show -

48/48 for Henderson seems painfully low.

And they were giving Pettis 100/100 on his first title defense. Sickening.

I wat him to go to ONE FC. Fight Askren.
