I'm going to need a gi soon... where is the best/cheapest place to get one, and what kind? All we've been doing so far is no-gi, which is all I've ever done, so I don't even know when I'll need one, but I know i will eventually. Can any of you help a brotha out? :)
also.. how do you properly size them? I just looked on EBay, and I see size A1, A4, etc. WTF is that? HELP A NOOB OUT! :(
Depends on how serious you want to get and spend. You can get a cheap judo gi for $35.
Go to the brand's site and look at their sizing charts. That will tell you.
For affordable quality, I suggest...

Kagi makes a tough product and the service is very good.
Can't go wrong with a Howard Unbleached... extra tough, and cheap.
see www.howardcombatkimonos.com

I stopped wasting my time w/ other brands... buy atama direct (http://www.atama-kimonos.com/index_enter.htm ) and you will always be happy!
Atama is over priced crap. I have two that fit like shit and have tons of loose threads. My blue Atama faded in 2 different colors.
