you're half right IMO, but I give it to Stout/Fisher 2.  Any fight with Frankie Edgar, Tyson Griffin, or Clay Guida is worthy of being thrown in there too.

I dunno what the best fight of the year is yet, gonna have to give that some thought. So many good fights this year, it's a tough one to call.

But...For me. The "Holy Shit" moment of the year was When Randy dropped Sylvia on his ass with his first punch. I swear the earth's rotation was affected by the millions of people around the world watching that fight who all simultaneously jumped to their feet in amazement.

Great moment in MMA.

J-Roc and War Machine are close, though, as are a few others.

But those two fights being on the same card for free on TV is simply incredible.

I think Chuck/Wand deserves it for living up to the hype of years in the making and both guys left it all in the ring and both really threw down numerous times and we got a definitive winner.

Thank god the UFC brought back the LW div though and big ups to all UFC LWs that fought like tasmanian devils.

I agree with Evilmaster, I was at UFC68 and that moment was electifying! That cowd went totally berserk when big Timmay went down and that pretty much set the scene for the entire fight! Awesome!

^^ Edgar/Griffin was a good fucking fight.

I remember what ever PPV it was on was already over and they started showing a prelim fight and that fight was the shit. Me and my buddies were seriously impressed by both of them.

No other fight sticks out to me except for Gomi/Diaz. That was another great fight.

Tough call.
