What do you think are some of the best fights that never happened?

Here are a few (in my opinion):

Don Frye vs Marco Ruas is another one. Was supposed to happen at UFC 9, but Ruas pulled out with an injury and was replaced by Amuary Bitetti.

The jones vs Gustafsson rematch in a timely manner.

I would like to have seen a rematch between Wanderlei Silva and Gilbert Yvel, because when they fought at PRIDE-11 it ended in 21 seconds in a no contest after Yvel kicked Silva in the balls.

Another fight that happened, but did not really happen, which I'd like to have seen is Kazuyuki Fujita vs Mark Coleman. Fujita came in and immediately threw in the towel as he was exhausted after defeating Mark Kerr in the PRIDE Grand Prix, so Coleman basically received a bye into the finals against Igor Vovchanchyn, which makes me wonder what would have happened had Coleman actually had to fight his way into that final match.

I totally agree that this is a rematch which should have already happened, but for the purpose of this thread, I'm talking about fights that never happened at all, not rematches.

Frank Shamrock vs Dan Henderson would have been interesting. The two met in a submission grappling match in The Contenders and Frank won pretty quickly with a submission, but it was early in Henderson's career, so I think if the two would have fought in a match that allowed striking Frank would have probably had a far more difficult match on his hands.

Wanderlei Silva vs Anderson Silva would have been very interesting.

Kerr vs. Coleman

Ken vs. Tank. I think Ken would have held that kneebar extra long.

Mark Schultz vs. whoever in a second UFC appearance.

Rico Chiapparelli vs. Rickson

Matt and Mark Hughes used to pound each other behind the barn, but we didnt get to see it happen.......

Prime Ken Shamrock would have almost certainly beaten Tank. After Ken started going on his losing streak Tank would have stood a good chance of landing a bomb and taking him out like Kimbo did.

I forgot about Mark Schultz. One of the best fighters who barely had any fights. I would loved to have seen prime Mark Schultz vs say Don Frye or Mark Coleman.

I am actually kind of glad that this fight never happened. Kerr was a physical monster at the time, and he'd have just laid on Royce and pounded him, like he did to Fabio Gurgel.
