I am aware this thread has been created over and over.
I have a bunch of Ryan Hall Dvds. Who else puts out a really good instructional set?
I planned on picking up another dvd set soon. The dvd doesnt have to be over anything specific.

Do any of you guys own this set by Cesar Gracie
Don't own Ceaser, but apart from Ryan Hall, I love Cobrinha's stuff on open guards. He doesn't break it down in the same way as Ryan Hall, but he does present an encompassing open guard game

This was the first set I owned. I haven't watched in years...but I remember correctly it has, what is now, a basic game.
Its a good beginner set, I think.
Gracie combatives
Anyone watch Lucas Lepri's Championship Guard Passing DVD??
FYI Digitsu has a huge sale going on
If you have most of the Ryan Hall DVDs, adding Saulo I will give you a fairly complete library. Still holds up incredibly well for all levels.
FlowWithTheGo -Thought this set was solid, but incredibly basic. I bought it as a blue, and did not glean much from it.FlowWithTheGo -

Anything by Carlos machado.
mginaction or mendesbros online.
if you actually want a dvd set, Demian Maia's sets are fantastic. He teaches a lot of stuff that most DVDs ignore.

This was the first set I ever bought back when I was a white belt... It's a 3 DVD set (beginner, intermediate, advanced). I feel like this is the set that every beginner should be introduced to. I don't remember anything really being "advanced", but it really gave me a comfortable feel of most of the positions. I think it should be the go-to DVD set for someone starting bjj and wanting to get an instructional.
