Just wanted to know opinions on what is the best thing to do to rehab injured knees.
I have had reconstructive surgery on both my knees and have reinjured them multiple times since surgery. I dont want to have surgery again since it would put me out for near 2 years.
What is the best rehab to do to get the knees stronger and more stable. Are there any good supplements that would help make things better on the knees? Any advise is greatly appreciated.
Knee sets have changed my life. I have also had a couple of knee surgeries and I have torn cartilage in one of my knees now. It is painfull b/c I train 3-5 days of week. I started doing knee sets a couple of months ago and it has really helped.
Flex the quad hard concentrating on the inside head of the quad next to the knee and hold for two seconds. Work up to doing 3 sets of 50. It sounds stupid but it has really worked for me and everyone I know who has tried it.

I am 6-7 weeks out after my Operation to repair ACL (Cadaver replacement) with some cartilage and MCL damage. I finished the 4 weeks of rehab with professionals and now spend alot of time stretching to get back flexibility. I didn't do that for my other knee and just did the machines for the quads and it took a long time to get back and now have alot less flexibility. I am swimming everyday to do an impact free exercise and get cardio since I can not run yet. I also do alot of hamstring work. While I am in the water I stretch alot and do one legged squats and thrusts since the buyoncy keeps alot of the weight off and gradually get my knee/leg stronger. If you are near a pool or ocean this may help. Good Luck.
