Some of you might remember me from the windows 10 freezing potato thread. Well, now I'm looking for another laptop. Preferably one up to 800 dollars (although open to go a bit higher). One with at least nvidia gtx960. I don't care about storage space and I'm fine with 8gigs of ram. This is purely for gaming.
I know I'm not the most computer savvy type of guy, but I also know the OG computer engineers give good advice. Thanks
I'm also saddened because I've always been a vaio guy. Those machines would last for years. Both still run good, just time for an upgrade.

Check out the Lenovo outlet. You can find some pretty good deals there but you have to act fast. I got one from there not too long ago with an 860 for $500 didn't feel like spending another $$250 for a 960.

in, I'm in the market for a laptop. I'd like it to be capable of playing some games potentially, but that won't be its main purpose.

Checkout Asus nitro. It's about £800 I think over here I almost bought one myself but ended up just going crazy and overspending. With zero regrets.
I don't think much new will have a dedicated gpu for 800. Especially a 960. Maybe Im wrong
okiebug - Something like this...Thanks man. I saw one for around 800 on amazon, but don't know much about MSI. I've heard nothing but good things though.

What do you guys think of this?
okiebug - Something like this...Never buy hardware from Wal-Mart or Sam's club. They are low end garbage sold as value. You're over paying for underpowered setups with weak parts.

B17 - Asus ROGI've heard there has been hardware issues on some of the latest models. There is a good one on sale at amazon for 800, but lots of complaints.

I had an asus, but not an ROG
ASUS ROG owner here. They are great. Not sure you can get one in your price range though.

The 15" 960m Asus is a nice product for just over a grand.
I have a 2 year old Asus rog. 17" beast. Still going strong.
