Best Scenes in V for Vendetta?

Recently watched this again.  So many great scenes.

Favorites?

I love the Old Bailey scene near the beginning.  It really sets up the entire movie with V's plans for blowing up the Parliament.  And a great introduction to the symbolism of November the 5th.   What a wonderfully insane character with tremendous commitment to achieving his goals.

And V's insane laughing as he conducts the 1812 as the Bailey is blow to hell is wonderful.....

Definitely IMHO.

Had no expectations going in.  Saw it more than a year after it came out and never heard much about it and didn't even know it was based on a comic book.  Had never heard about Anonymous as at that point, I don't think Cyber terrorism was a thing.  Was completely blind-sided by that movie!  Enjoyed every minute.  (Vague spoiler) The only thing that I thought was a bit dumb was torturing her for a year.  I'm guessing that was probably done better in the comic while this was compressed into the movie.  I get the idea behind it but just thought it wasn't done well.

Not sure if the movie holds up as well today though as the mask has been adopted by many groups and the world is a much different place.

ding ding ding

First date with my x was to this movie. Entire time I was dreaming of fucking her. Portman that is!

Favorite is when v saves portman’s character at the beginning

“I killed you 10 minutes ago while you were sleeping.”

Ride the long black train

On my top ten list. Love the movie. Love the jail sequence, particularly the girl (who writes the notes) story and how it changes Portman.
