USAToday has the best rankings, I think.
Fight Matrix has the best way of doing it. Based on record and opponents and opponents' records. Its not opinion based to my knowledge. Its generally pretty accurate and goes to 100!

Sherdog.com is the only site that takes the time to explain each ranking in detail. They don't bother ranking outside of the top 10 either, its pointless hair splitting at that point.
Fightmatrix proves once and for all there is no way to come up with some numerical value for a fighter based on their wins.
If you don't take into consideration competitive wins/losses or lopsided wins/losses your rankings are pointless and you end up with bullshit like Shogun being ranked lower than Vitor.
