Best U.S. City for 2024 Olympics?

Captain america - Dallas for sure.

The area has a good amount of venues already. Phone Post 3.0

It's an ugly city. Would be a bad advertisment for US.

Aural_Apocalypse - Well, if there are ever things you should leave out of a autobiography... that would be one of them.

This is why I respect Anderson Silva. He just doesn't give a fuck. You know what? Neither do I. It was a long time ago and he was at a different place in his life. Poverty does strange things to people.

Detroit. i would goto a event if it is here

Does Detroit have the hotel capacity? So you want a bunch more buildings built then abandoned? Passive Jay's grandson will be making threads about it 60 years from now.

San Fran would be a fucking congestion nightmare. Phone Post 3.0

San Diego. Dallas would be too damn hot in the summer.

why woudl you even want the olympics? it costs billions and generates only a fraction of that in return

KingJamesCodpiece - If they're going to invest hundreds of millions into prepping a city, why not Detroit? Being largely abandoned may even give Detroit some advantages. They could restore what needs to be restored, and destroy what needs to be destroyed without having too many people in the way. Using the Olympics to resurrect a dying city would also be a very marketable storyline.

The host city (and maybe state) pick up the vast majority of the costs for infrastructure. Detroit is bankrupt and doesn't have a pot to piss in.

Not D.C. They can't handle the traffic they have now. Parking is horrible and set up to basically force you to get a ticket.

Couldn't have said it better. Plus the DC local government barely functions as it is. Phone Post 3.0

King of Akron - Why don't you post pics of your girl, it's the old lame rules bro, you going to move in with her after barely being dumped in a divorce Phone Post 3.0
