Good points, Ghost, but you overlooked the fact that Dean has mad superhuman resistance to RNC. Pi De Pano had him in one for several minutes and Dean wouldn't tap. That will be an awesome match.
Roger easily had the better performance. Although Dean did have an amazing run in the absolute, he did nothing in his weight class in 2003. Roger won both his weight class and the absolute. He won every match by submission. Cacareco verbally submitted by refusing to continue his match with Roger. 8 for 8 in the tournie. All by submission. How can you top that?

Really? Thats odd I coulda sworn the series was like a 3 minute side choke attempt by PDP and then Dean escaped and took his back when points were counting and won.
A RNC that is sunk is very hard to just tolerate even for Mean Dean.
I realize that Roger had the perfect run overall. Taking both his weight and the absolute all by sub and beating some big names. He had the anti-Arona run.
I was moreso talking about his run in the absolute vs Dean's. Could they beat the guys that the other beat and so forth.
You might be right Helwig..i did a piece on Dean for FIGHTSPORT and need to check it..he told me he looked up at the monitor and saw himself being choked by PDP which I thought was funny.
Either way, Roger vs. Dean is going to be as good a Superfight as ADCC has ever had. My personal favorite guy to watch is Jacare, who is so smooth and technically sounds..amazing how Roger ran through him and those other cats.
