Bi Daily HIIT for weight loss? ?

So the idea is to put my body into a daily weight loss mode using HIIT.

The question is would this work and would I lose fat. Every morning and every evening I would run as fast as possible for 2 min.

I cannot run miles every day (bad joints). Would this stress put my body into fat burning mode or would it do nothing? Phone Post 3.0

I am looking to not add more long exercise to my already full routine. I just want to get my metabolism to burn more fat if possible. I work out everyday already I am just not losing weight like I used to. Phone Post 3.0
