“Are you saying the US would come to Taiwan’s defense if China were to attack?” CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Biden to which the president responded, “Yes we will and have a commitment to do that.”
Biden was also asked by an audience member about China’s recent testing of hypersonic missile and questioned him about whether or not the United States would be able to stand up to China.
“Don’t worry about whether they’re going to be more powerful,” Biden said after reaffirming that the rest of the world “knows” that the United States has the most powerful military in the world.
“A cold war? Well I don’t want a continued cold war with China,” Biden said. “I just want China to understand that we are not going to step back and we are not going to change any of our views.”
It appears the Chinese communist regime in Beijing is looking to test the resolve of the Biden administration, particularly in the wake of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, experts tell Fox News.
Recent military buildup and aggression towards Taiwan by China has sent dozens of warplanes over the last month towards the territory’s air defense zone, part of a muscular approach to the region which has been continuing to escalate for months. President Xi Jinping has also renewed calls for Taiwan to be brought into China, calling for reunification.
Having the most powerful military in the world with Joe Biden at the Helm is like having a 7 year old with Down syndrome run the play calls for the New England patriots
At the rate he’s going, we’re no longer going to be the most powerful military in the world. Recruitment is down, there’s going be a huge void due to people being forced out due to his stupid mandate, and hundreds, possibly thousands in the Special Operations community are being told they are undeployable unless they comply with the vax mandate.
Lets not forget the $85 billion worth of tech, vehicles, and weapons he supplied the Taliban or the 4,000 - 5,000 US citizens he abandoned in Afghanistan, who are still there to this day.
I forgot to mention – what allied nations will join us after the cluster fuck in Afghanistan? Why trust us when we abandon our own citizens and arm our enemy?
I dont see China invading Taiwan. They are going to slowly assert authority while the Biden admin worries about forced vaccinations, green energy, and a depressed economy.
Well… Most of the nations are led by the elites that want a one world government.
China opposes that vision.
So for that reason, I could see allies joining to go against china.
However, seeing as how we rely on China for our money, and our medicine and just about everything else we import, I’d say war with China means the US economy is completely destroyed, and the us quickly runs out of essential supplies
That’s not even counting war, and attacks on the us infructrure.
Invading Taiwan would be incredibly risky for China. It could potentially be facing war with the US, Japan, Australia, the UK, hell even india might attack as it sees China as an aggressive regional power.
It’s important to remember that the world’s largest airforce is the US airforce.
The world’s second largest airforce is the US Navy.
The US also has almost 10 times as many nuclear weapons god forbid it comes to that.
