Big Country fought. Condit didn't. Understand that

Big Country fought. He lost, but he went out on his shield. Condit, on the other hand, did everything he could to avoid the fight. If you want a difference between a fighter and a point fighter, you need look no further than these two.

I get what you're saying, but Big Country lost and Carlos won. Carlos is now a title holder. Carlos got his win money. Carlos actually threw some impressive kicks/combos. Did Big Country impress people?

I'd rather watch a fighter lose than a point fighter win.

And yes, I was impressed by Big Country. Same reason people would watch Saku--because win or lose, he was a warrior.

big country definitely impressed people. i'd watch him fight again.

do you think condit impressed? it's the first time i've seen him fight and hopefullly it'll be the last.

Big country fought like a man. Glad to see he won the 65k bonus. Phone Post

Good post Phone Post

If Condit had followed Big Country's game plan of getting constantly punched and kneed in the face, I don't think he would've won.

You've never seen Condit fight before this? Your opinion on the subject is invalid.

He's a fucking moron

"lezby honest. nobody won that fight tonight. nobody did any damage and nobody got hurt. so lets call it a draw.

if you have to pick a winner, i say give it to diaz. at least he TRIED to start a fight. the only problem was that his opponent kept running away."

Yeah go back to sherdog asshole Phone Post

Let me try and explain this since ur clueless...

Big Country does not have the skillset to do what Carlos did 2nite...

Nick fights the way he does not because he's tough but becuase he has a limited skillset

Jester, thank you for explaining this to him.... But I'm sorry he won't understand it Phone Post

How have you not seen Condit fight before? you know he's had like 26 finishes?

I owe u a vote up

If you mean bound away from his opponent at every available opportunity, then you're probably right, Big Country would not feel right about avoiding the fight.

"Nick fights the way he does not because he's tough but becuase he has a limited skillset"

Interesting. Nevermind that Diaz has some of the best groundwork in the business when he wants to use it. Hmmm....

The fight would have been so much better if only Carlos would have just stopped and planted his feet and let Diaz punch away.

Carlos fought brilliantly imo. Phone Post

Even if he wanted to (which he did try) get it to the ground, he couldn't, cause his wrestling sucks ass.

Condit was the better fighter. Get over it Phone Post

Maybe if Big Country had landed more strikes than his opponent and done more damage, he would have won like Condit did

"Even if he wanted to (which he did try) get it to the ground, he couldn't, cause his wrestling sucks ass. "

Do you even know the ratio of Diaz's attempted takedowns vs. successful completions?
