I come from Paraiba , in Brazil…..we don’t back down from things there! I fight who ever they put in front of me, you will never see me picking and chosing opponents. Its sad, when the HW champion of the 2nd biggest event in the world , starts whining that he will only fight this guy or that, what kind of a professional is this guy? He is the Champ isn’t he? Why be afraid to fight me? And how about Fedor, one of the biggest legends in the sport, is this how he got to be a legend? Declining fights?
I never disrespect any opponent, no matter what his record is or what the publics thoughts are about him, to me, he merits respect just for stepping up there and facing me, but these guys are disappointing me, they are demonstrating that they are not deserving of my respect.
We are fighters, we are supposed to be some of the best in the world, our job is to go up there and perform, put on a good fight for the fans. I am ready to do this, just tell me who is next and I will be there. I am not a women to be involved in soap operas , looking forward to the next episode.
I think that strike force needs to put and end to this. Give me whoever, and I will fight him, and winning or losing, people will know that I came to fight that day, and I put my heart into it, to me, this is the only way

Totally agree with him about Overeem. But Fedor called out the champ. Not his fault Overeem's ducking. And if the rumors are true, he'll be fighting Barnett later this year because of the Overeem duck. Which is a bigger fight than Bigfoot. Fedor's trying to get the best fights he can. Overeem on the other hand.... has fought Brett Rogers and that's it. He needs to step up.
These are not easy fights for JR, but you dont see him running from anyone. These guys know that jr will let it all hang out, and they arnt willing to face it. jrs last perfoemaces have more than credentialed him to fight any one of these guys, or any other major HW for that matter. He is right on being dissapointed, you never hear him bad mouthing anyone, but Overeem came out on YahooBr and called him a " Hole Plug"...if thats the case, well then, shouldnt be a problem for Overeem. How about Fedor? He will only fight Verdum, or maybe Overeem , if he does nuclear testing to make sure he isnt using DNA enhancement!! Now common!!!! And let me tell you, Jr does become a champ, he wont be picking either, he will fight whoever!
No arguements on Verdum, he dont back off. Jr had a great fight with him though, was a very close dec.
Actualy, Jr was offerd a fight vs Fedor a few years ago, in Russia, but Fedor didnt want to fight him, ended up being lidland.
Wasn't that Bodog fight Randy ducked and Lindland was the last minute replacement? Who was Bigfoot at the time?

big foot is real practical. the only way a fighter should publically complain about the name he is fighting is if percentage of pay per view buys is involved. other than that say you are going to fight whenever wherever and let your manager handle it.

Yes, but Jr should not have accepted doing JJ with Verdum. We told him time and time again not to. Draw may have been a fair result, but I myself never argued with the loss.
Funny was afterwards with and Big Foot and Verdum talking about the fight, and Verdum saying to himself after he shook Jrs hand before the fight: Jeez this guy is big!! Barbaridade! What did I get into!!! We all laughed long and hard!
