Helwani made a flub there. He said Nogueira has only been stopped once in his career. Nogueira has been stopped twice. I guess he's not counting the Frank Mir stoppage over Nogueira.

Really hope Nog will take this fight. I personally think Schaub explosiveness will be to much for him but you should never underestimate the ''home'' town advantage,especially to a legend in the game like Big Nog.



So his chin might have been made suspect,perhaps he was only leaning in because of his bad hips. He did look off in his last fights but does not seem to be nursing to many big injuries or infections this time around. I think he might have the advantage if he can survive the initial onslaught. Catch Schaub when he is a little tired,push him against the fence,get a take-down and submit him on the ground. All through sheer determination and a never die attitute infront of his home crowd.



And Sonnen might get killed in the streets of the favalla's but so would most no natives potentially....not because of the hate but because of the love (love for money hence robbery.... a little something that  happens everywhere where people are poor).If Sonnen goes to most area's in Brazil (where there has been tremendous povery reduction btw so a lot of better area's then before) he will be fine.



Sonnen needs to stay backstage but if Okami wins he should be able to show some support.Every story needs a villan and i am sure most people in Brazil also appreciate this.
