I thought he looked great against Mir (end result notwithstanding) but tonight he looked terrible. Slower than molasses and so out of shape. Anyone who actually took fighting seriously probably would have KO'd him. I would pick Roy Nelson over him at this point, and that makes me very sad.
If he keeps fighting, he really needs to get down to 230 I think.

Other than cardio issues, Roy Nelson is no joke!
He is awesome on the ground, hits like a brick, and has an anvil for a chin.
I think NOG's movement is deceptive. He has been doing this for a long time. He can still take a punch, (although not like he used to), and he is better at sneaking his own in than he used to be. He still has great sweeps and overall transition on the ground. His submissions are still top notch.
He was one mistake away from clowning Mir. That was just the dark side of fate fucking with Nog. At his best, he was probably twice the fighter Mir is. Oh well.
Regardless - agree Nog is showing his age, But Herman is no joke.
Nog isn't fighting to win the title again. He is fighting because he loves it, and is still one of the best.
I will still root for Big Nog, whoever he fights.

I really had my hopes up that he would submit herman, but part of me felt that Herman was just going to tko nog and then BOOOM Nogueria by submission! Awesome moment beautiful card. This was a card for the ages, seeing the passion of the brazillian fans reminds how fortunate we are to get see these great fighters go at it on the big stage. This card reminded me of why i fell in love with the sport
He is the definition of a legendary in mma. Nobody has heart, toughness and a will to win like Nog.
