I never understood why athletes open restaurants. I could understand owning an interest in a Burger King or franchise/chain, but restaurants generally require a hands on owner to be successful.
Good news is Johny still is the only one with his picture on the wall for completing the Bigg Rigg challenge.
Which is a 72 ounce steak, 4 pounds of mashed potatoes, 37 mozzarella cheese sticks and a gallon of Breyer's butter pecan ice cream.

That review may be funny to us, but it hurts his business and shouldn't be encouraged.

Yeah, but did he really have to do the Bigg Rigg challenge on Monday?
Bay Area - Doesn't look like his restaurant is doing too good. Bad investment? For someone who has no restaurant experience opening a restaurant is a terrible idea. It is a brutally cutthroat industry.

It's the new "it" industry. Any moron who watches Food Network thinks they have the ability to run a restauraunt or work in a pro kitchen. People need to stick to what they are good at. It's one thing as an athlete or former athlete to open up a Tim Hortons or a Subway that you have some guaranteed business from the franchise name, and from your name as well.
But Johnny is barely a pro athlete when it comes to public perception. The average person has no fucking clue who Johnny Hendricks is. He might have been a champ, but it's not like he's Tony Romo or James Harden. Those are people that would get recognized where he is, to most people he's just some big farm boy.

People are idiots. Remember in the late 90's/early 2000's when ever jackass with a modem thought they could be a day trade?

Yeah this won't hurt them, if anything it just makes the owner seem more personable. It's obviously a joke.
