Now, when someone comes to you wanting to sponsor a fighter, yes, it is a nice thing to do, but have some fucking respect when you offer a 13 fight vet a ridiculous offer, when they are known for paying much more. It's flat disrespectful and damn near an insult. Now am I saying cole is "too good" to get paid a low amount, no but at the same time I am saying he is worth way more than that or sure. I guess you would have to know the background story to the situation to get a grasp for the emotion behind all of this. Did I make a post bashing people who give fighters money, fuck yeah I did. Is it unethical to call out lowballers? Was it appreciated they even offered? Once again, you'd have to know the backstory I guess. But thanks to everyone here for supporting Cole Miller. Was a very important fight.

It was super short notice right? It costs a company 100 k to even sponsor a ufc fighter. I'm sorrows companies can do that pay the fighter and make money... But I'm really small so it scams to numbers I can only dream of. 
caseharts -No, this $250 was not short notice, we had a last minute turn to here becauuuuse of the company who agreed on a price..then waited a few weeks to only hit us with the $250 offer after a price had been shot to them which put us in a scramble. The price now for that "tax" is 25k, but still, a lot of money to the smaller companies, but hell, I'd rather work with the smaller companies. Some such as forty thieves have damn good clothing that's quality. Now don't get me wrong, sponsorships are great and appreciated, but lets not get disrespectful with it. Matter of fact, those blue plaid shorts cole wore we're forty thieves shorts we had sent before logo print. Awesome shorts. And the reason I'm not name dropping the company is due to the fact they know who they are, and it's shady as hell for them to do that. Once again, you as a sponsor know exactly what you're getting yourself into when you begin negotiating with these guys, keep it above the belt. We were super super reasonable with our request, and were willing to flex, then that offer come back, I had to respond and ask if it were a joke or not..good thing is, cole kept his job and we have more companies interested now.bubbyDAhawk - Is it unethical to call out lowballers?
