Mine is what i call the 'cnn effect'. I think people got mad at the msm trying to rig the election for Hillary and energized people to go out and vote. People saw through the deception.
The wall. Lets face it something has to be done.
NRA. One of the few origs that backed Trump with much money and members votes. Second admendment gets props to.
Muslem immigration from war torn areas. Bringing in people who hate us and are good at bomb making seems like a bad idea.
Traven BJJ. His Diaz like stamania in bringing us 'the truth' was amazing. I have no idea how he can hold down a job and spend 24 hours a day posting on here. How many other forums does he post to. He put sleeper, attjact and hillary fan to shame.
2) Complete alienation of working class whites via identity politics by a democratic party that either took them for granted or felt they were no longer relevant.
Even the people who are "shaken up" by the loss were lukewarm before the election. I live in LA very liberal town, no yard signs, like maybe 5 hillary bumper stickers the whole campaign season, low energy. I saw more old bush/cheney and obama/biden stickers still stuck to cars than I saw new Hillary stickers.
Obama beat her last time. Trump beat her this time.
Two wildly different candidates, what do they have in common? They were facing hillary clinton.
millions of white Obama voters voted for Trump this time.
The dems need to distance themslves from groups like black lives matter or they're going to alienate a huge part of the population. white guilt types aren't a big enough group. you cant win an election without white ppl.

Agreed these were major factors. I would add wikileaks exposing how the dnc rigged the primaries and screwed with the debates were also major factors. I kept expecting wiki to drop the bomb that never came but they did a lot of damage.
Low voter turnout Romney and McCain both got more votes than trump and lost
I believe this but it seems amazing to me that it happened. McCain got more votes? The ironic part is if all the protesters voted Hillary might have won.

Specifically 4chan /pol/ and r/the_donald. They fought off Clinton's Correct the Record(CTR) PAC on the internet. CTR is the organization that hires all of the hillary shills and spammers. CTR is the organization if they don't like what you post will either vote you down or tell a moderate that your post is racist and get it taken away. They would harrass businesses and scare people off from supporting Trump.
Basically these people from 4chan and reddit, lets call them patriots, these patriots were the ones who said forget that and would create online campaigns for Trump to show off how crooked Hillary is and how bad her plans were. For ex draft our daughters and the green frog memes.
Also these are the entities that were going through wikileaks and emailing their findings to the news organizations. It wasn't real "journalists" doing this, just a bunch of patriots trying to make sure their govn't didn't go full retard. They would read email by email of the Wikileaks and post their findings. This took days and weeks, hundreds of people going through the info if not thousands, that why you know the FBI couldn't have gone through each of the 650000 emails on Weiners cpu so quickly. Some of the emails are in code, and the FBI search functions wouldn't have caught coded info w/o going through each email by hand. Completely fascinating all the work they did.
Those guys should be given medals for their work. I had no idea they did all that.
Trump had 8 years of the right's anger overflowing and celebrity status working for him while Hillary simply had too much of a checkered past to energize voters. And for many of the demographics (blacks, for one, obviously) that pushed Obama to win she fell far short - not only percentage-wise but likely she failed to motivate them enough to vote this time around.
As well, if they did a poll my hunch is that they'd find that, for example, 80% of Trump voters wanted him to win because they really believed in him. While 80% of Hillary voters did so simply because they didn't want Trump to win. It sounds like splitting hairs but it's easier to motivate someone to check your name if they truly back you.

History will never forget the Great Meme War of 15-16
I think there are many poor rural white communities in the US with the same kind of problems as Inner city dwellers (teen pregnancies, drug addiction, high drop out rates). These people felt that they were ignored for the last 8 years and many felt marginalized. Those people were former democrats who ended up votiing for Trump. Will Trump fix their problems? We will see. Did the Democratic Party ignore these people? Absolutely.
