<p>Before they even had a fight against each other booked, Luke Rockhold was willing to wager his entire purse that he would finish Bisping inside the first round. Bisping talked about the bet, but ultimately decided to turn it down, believing that the bet could serve as excuse for Rockhold once he wins:</p>
"Here’s the thing, I’ve never been finished in one round in my life," Bisping said. "And when I beat you, I don’t want you to have the excuse that, ‘oh, I was going all out in the first round so I could finish you because I wanted to win this bet.’ Obviously, if you look at me and you look at Luke you can clearly see that Luke needs the money. I dress in the fanciest clothes, Luke…Luke you’re supposed to wear a suit here, it’s a press conference.
"Incidentally, I get paid four or five times more than you. There’s a reason why that is. Perhaps I will donate you some money to got out and buy yourself a suit when I kick your ass on Nov. 8."
"It’s funny, there’s a little tag team, for those diehard MMA fans, there was an event in San Jose recently [UFC 177]," he said. "Luke Rockhold and another San Jose native, Cung Le, we’re both up on the stage, giving a little back-and-forth, a little tag team, a little circus act looking like a pair of douchebags, saying, ‘oh yeah, you’re going to beat him, I’m going to beat him, you’re going to beat him -- ooh, let’s all beat him!’
"But 50 percent of that duo, Cung Le, that ended with him having three broken ribs, a broken jaw, a broken nose…if you think about pitter-patter punches, I don’t know if Cung Le’s checked out of the hospital yet? But if he has? Or when he does? Maybe go and see him, and talk about those pitter-patter punches."

I used to hate Bisping when I was younger and would get butt hurt about dumb shit. Now I'm older and I love him. He's funny, quick witted, and win or lose his fights are usually fun. That's all I need.
mikey's shit talking is just that, shit. not remotely hilarious or compelling at all except to simpletons. if it were certain other people talking about how they get paid more than their opponent and other silly dumb bullshit you fucking clowns would be bad mothing the shit out of them. hypocrite fuck faces.
p.s.
not really a huge fan of either but this will be easy work for luke. deal with it(taking bets, hit me up).
hahaaaa bisping is awesome. it doesnt seem like rockhold can use his words like bisping can, so the build up is gonna be rockhold constantly looking the loser of the mental game. i just hope it works the same in the fight. wat bisping
yeah i kind of agree. while i don't hate him like i used to i think his verbal prowess is way overrated these days. "I dress in fancy clothes! I'm COOL! I make more than you! nya nya na booty!" I mean really?? that's whats passing off as wit these days?
As a posed to " you have no idea what your getting yourself into bisping"
yup. I'm ok with fighter confidence in most cases, just not bragging about material things
When one guy try's to make a bet for your purse, it is perfectly ok to bring up relative earnings.
