CaptainWoodyJunior - Weidman didnt shine vs Maia , I saw his stand up and he will get lit up standing , dont saymhe finished Munoz, come on Silva has a better chin
Not saying Weidman beats Anderson but..... If you don't think that elbow he landed on Munoz would drop Silva you are on crack.
If you think that elbow lands on Silva you are on crack. Silva would never be in that position in the first place.
To boot, I am pterry sure I have seen Silva take harder shots than that and not even flinch. ;)
303 - The only reason the fight hasn't happened yet is they want Bisping to stay relevant. Bisping would be destroyed by Silva, and he knows it. All the trash talking he does and he has beaten ONE top 10 fighter. Bisping needs to stop talking.
This is actually kinda true. While I think if he had beaten Hendo he would have got a shot this way he has remained more relevant over the years likely by not already being crushed by silva. Now that his career is likely winding down and he's made his money it won't matter as much for him to lose.
A lot of misguided people in this thread, let me lay out the FACTS:
Bisping is every bit as fast as Anderson Bisping has better footwork Bisping has better cardio Bisping has better takedown defence Bisping is more accurate Bisping has just as good a finish rate, if not better Bisping doesn't duck anyone, he is a real fighter.
Bisping has every chance to beat Anderson, and he far and away deserves the shot more than anyone else in the division (or any other division for that matter).
To say that Bisping is a smaller version of Bonnar is pretty erroneous imo. Bispings boxing, timing and movement is so much better than Bonnar. I think Bispings ability to stick and move would provide Silva with his biggest challenge yet. However, Bispings lack of punching power and Anderson's proven chin would make this fight an inevitable win for Anderson. Round 2 TKO.
