Bitcoin at 11k....

Just let that sink in for a moment

It was at 4K around 2 months ago

What’s that mean?

Let me try to break this down for you.

If you want to buy or sell a bitcoin...it's $11k. Get it?

If I want to buy 1 bitcoin, it costs $11,000??

You are correct sir.  In January one bitcoin was around $400

Do bitcoins subdivide? Are there "bit-cents"?

Otherwise, it's hard to imagine a currency like this being much use for most people.

you can buy .00000008 of a bitcoin.  Its very easy to imagine, as the 10,000% increase in a year has shown.

Yes, it subdivides

1/1000: millibitcoin
1/100000000: satoshi

I'm so fucking rich.

There are many, many multi millionaires who had nothing before this.

I posted in another thread. I am inheriting about $120K this week.

Would it be smart, in your opinion, to throw $5K into bitcoin right now?

And if so, where is the best place to do that?

Yes. You can find a bitcoin atm using the internet.

You can buy and sell them there.

Of course. That’s only a small percentage. If you lose it who cares but upside could be YUGE

Slydawg -

I don't see it going up, you might lose getting in now.

Wanna bet?

What about coinbase? Thoughts?

You should just take the risk and buy 1 bitcoin.

Good Ol Cam Winklevos said the true value of a bitcoin once demand is higher than supply is 40k. He invested 20 mil when bitcoin was at like 300. He almost put in 150 mil last december when it was at 1k before BTC lost the SEC ruling.

Let that sink in.
