Are you high? The horn fight was so fucking close it was sickening and was very exciting and as for Suloev.....Dean Stood with an accomplished striker for 14.5 minutes and was never in danger......and lol at he'll be lucky to get a fight.....he is on contract with Pride......
BTW on Penn vs Lister not a good fight for Penn Dean is to big and better on the ground but in standup fight could be dangerous
What weight does Penn fight at now? I thought Lister was a natural light-heavyweight that cut down a class.

Dean is amazing on the ground IMO better than BJ.He has some nice striking as well.Suloev was defensive the entire fight and got a gift of a decision Dean pressed the action and went for it instead of countering everything thorwn at him and stepping off the entire fight.Do you people even see the matches you talk about?

Gator for some of those opinions, you are an idiot.. The Horn fight was awesome... lol @ Horn spanking Dean in a split decision and dominating on the ground, that makes a whole lotta sense, you probably didn't even watch the fight... It amazes me how critical some fans of this sport are..
You say Dean would be lucky to get another fight.. well he will be fighting Bushido again here soon.. Horn had over 100 fights, while Dean had under 10..Dean is new to the sport still..
Horn is the fuckin man also.. that being said Bj is way to small for Dean.. it would be a perfect fight if they could meet at the same weight but that won't happen.. because it would be a perfect fight for Dean..PERFECT..
Suloev ran from Dean's ground game while Dean unwillingly played Suloev's game the whole fight and he couldn't hurt Dean.. he actually hurt himself kicking Suloev's knee. Dean is working hard all the time adn like I said still new to the sport.. he will be a major force.
Lister hasn't exactly "stepped up" in MMA like Penn has. Until he actually wins a big fight he's just another sport grappler that couldn't take that step into MMA. No shame in that - it's a different sport, but don't act like he's something he's not.
Whatever I respect your opinions.. I know one thing if Penn fought Horn he wouldn't make it to decision like Lister did..also I would love to see Suloev vs Penn.. it would be a great fight

Not true. I think Dean is a phenom on the ground, but his standup is nowhere near BJ's. BJ is definitely an all around better MMA fighter than Dean is. Bj is just as good on the ground as well, but has a better standup. Thats not to take anything away from Dean.

Lister was the Abu Dhabi Absolute champ, and is a phenom on the ground. He walks around at a solid 215 and has never been knocked out, even against a damn dangerous striker like Suloev. BJ is at most a natural 155-170 lber and would be giving away thirty pounds of size. I don't know if he could even hurt Dean at standup.

You're assuming that somehow ADCC grappling is MMA which it isn't. How many ADCC guys have we seen own MMA? It's not the same. BJ won the mundials and has been in groundfights with quite a few good grapplers in MMA and let's look at his record. I'm not a Penn fan at all, but give him respect. Lister's specialties are leglocks which in MMA often just give your opponent freebie strikes at your noggin. He's a great grappler, but I don't think he's any better than Penn...he's only bigger (which is why this fight won't happen). If Lister were to move down to 170 to fight BJ, he'd lose. Until Lister actually goes out and wins a fight against someone in the top 10 (none of this "he hung with xxx" stuff either), who cares?
I cant see Lister submitting Penn. Lister is awesome on the ground, but he has a problem using his subs in MMA. ADCC is not MMA. BJ has proved his efficiency of the ground game in his MMA fights.
A little more experience and Lister would be capable of finishing almost anyone on his day.

He could never make 170.. unless he cut off one or two legs. So it's all speculation. I think Suloev could make 170.. I would love to see that fight. BTW.. the competition Dean faced in KOTC isn't pride level however every fight he had besides Horn ended in Submission.
