BJ Penn fights Rory MacDonald at UFC on Fox: Henderson vs. Diaz on December 8, 2012 at KeyArena in Seattle, Washington, live on FOX.

A motivated BJ Penn is one of the all time greats in mixed martial arts. And this fight, BJ Penn is motivated, as can be seen at a glance at the murder's row of fighters he brought into his training camp.

Tyron Woodley, with an assist from his Scrap Pack :-)
Ben Askren gets a MAHALO
Three time black belt champion at the Mundials Rafael Mendes, and his brother Guilherme
"I wouldnt want 2B fightin bjpenndotcom right now lookin great & feeling better! Back 2 licking Blood of Gloves" -Tyron Woodley, with Pat Healy, Josh Thomson, and Rich Chou.
"Me and The Prodigy after a good mma training session" -Tarec Saffiedine, with Jay Heiron.
UGCTT croy_00 - Well, I think it's safe to say that if Rory can get past BJ he will be as good as well all think he is.
Nah, his haters will say that BJ wasn't motivated (he's only motivated when he wins) and he beat a blown up lightweight. Just like Rory gets no credit for crushing Nate Diaz.
Pat Healey looking like a gigantic 155 pounder in some of those pictures, pretty wild to see him next to welter Woodley. For that matter the Punk looks pretty big comparatively as well.
rory's stand-up didnt look that great in his last fight, if bj can keep it on the feet (and his training with Askren can only help his already amazing take down defense) he might just be able to hurt rory bad
Midget Tosser - what I wouldn't give to see some footage of BJ and Rafa rolling
Seriously
Rafa is much more technically advanced than the entire LW BJJ division, and that's the most advanced div out ther. A lot of guys impose their strength or speed with technique. Rafa looks weaker than almost everyone he battles but overwhelms by insanely quick techniques and rapidly linking them together. No matter where he is at he has a multitude of techniques to finish or sweep. I have a DVD of his and there is so much stuff on there I have never seen ANYONE else show. The stuff is bizzare and incredibly difficult to do, but works so easy because NO ONE else knows it.
