Title edit:  Crap healthcare system leads to death of injured man

I'm wondering if the guy who put him to sleep (if he was put to sleep) held on for a second or two longer once he knew he was out.

Damn. In for educating myself on choking out fools. :P

Obama is lobbying for tighter RNC control laws right now.

Let's rally behind him in blaming the wrong thing - it'll only cost millions!

"In a statement, the Department of Health claims that he showed up at a health center on 26 September and that tests showed the man had a head injury"

Isn't this inconsistent with the notion that this was all from a choke? Chokes don't cause head injuries, do they?

What passes for journalism these days is sheer crap. Someone knew that and said "Shit, we don't have a news story. Let's just pretend we didn't notice that fact."

When you need traffic, you just gloss over these things. Sensationalism the headlines, shit, make them up. Just get those numbers!

I got put out bad one time training for a fight. No one was around or watching and when i went out i seized or convulsed and he thought i was still fighting and squeezed a couple extra seconds

Meanwhile i was literally dreaming and recall some red lightning type shit i imagine was brain saying bye bye

Woke up felt funny for a day or two an thankfully have only been put out that one time

I do not agree with a lot of fighters on go out thing it is not good for you. Phone Post 3.0

Not the first time I've heard if this happening ... Someone I know had a stroke off a RNC, was lucky to get through it Phone Post 3.0

Lets not pretend we dont know what happened here.....

He was selling off counter cigarretes in the school.

Whether being totally put to sleep by strikes or a choke, it generally permenantly changes a fighter.

Same here.

Bottom line is that being choked all the way out is in no way good for the brain or body.

Most schools recognize this and remind people about the need to tap. Yes, accidents happen and people occasionally go our, but it should be the exception.
