Gerbiljiujitsu -allchokedup - how could you not tell that wasnt a whitebelt? After he took you down and took the back and hooking that arm and almost going to crucifix position, guy was waaay to smooth to be a white belt.

honestly there is no good reason that I did not realize it. I've known the white belt for over 15 years. He and I were friends previous to his starting training.
I was so focused on beating him, combined with the sensory deprivation that it just never occured to me. I mean looking at the video I should clearly have known, but I think I was more concerned with grappling than thinking about being dupped.
Either way, I probably deserved it considering I tazered the white belt while he was grappling and I constantly mess with my friends that train.
Ohh well, at least we got it on video :D
I know I've seen that guy before!! He competed at NAGA in Atlanta 2 weeks ago. I'm not going to call sandbagging, but it is definitely time for a promotion!!

Ha! I am the white belt in question in the video and while I greatly appreciate the compliment I can assure you I am nowhere near a blue belt.
Atlanta was a good showing for me, two quick submissions, but had you of been at the Good Fight tournament the month before you would have had a very different opinion. I lost twice there, 10-4 and 3-2, and only saw the medal stand in passing!
My competition before that one was NAGA Tennessee and I lost in the championship match there 7-6.
Last year my competition record was under .500, I won like 11 matches and lost 12, this year I am sitting at 2-2...Atlanta was just a good performance for me.
