Blatant Foul = CHEATING

Dear Joe Rogan,

A blatant foul is known as cheating. Especially when a fighter has had a point taken off for holding shorts

AND WHO HAS SUBSEQUENTLY HAD HIS HAND REMOVED TWICE BY THE REFEREE IN HIS FURTHER ACTS OF HOLDING HIS OPPONENT'S SHORTS.

Why were you not calling for Kongo's disqualification?

Not to mention that Kongo's OM seems to be connecting with an upward, testicle-targeted knee through his last few fights. Next time Kongo throws the crotch shot he should be instantly fined a large percentage of his purse, as disqualification cannot be immediate through the application of "rules".

*Undoubtedly this thread has been done to death but having just watched the fight I know of no other MMA fighter that cheats so consistently without punishment. F'ing outrageous.

Kongo just fights dirty. Did it against Crocop, did it again here.

Most refs tolerate it, unfortunately. It was a good call for this ref to give him a point deduction.

Those nut shots are huge in a fight! People will naturally be worried about defending against them the rest of the fight and that really softens them and leaves a lot of openings against other strikes. He should have been DQ'ed after he continued to grab the shorts after having a point deducted, that draw was bullshit IMO.

Operandi modus??

Haha, yeah, my bad typo.

Danas probably gonna let him go anyways after exposing half of mma on peds Phone Post

Kongo is a dirty fighter.

Purposeful groin shots (which he does in almost every fight)
Blatant Shorts Grabbing even when hes already been docked points.
Eye Poking.

Guy is the anti-christ of sportsmanship.

He used the groin shot (which he totally aims for on purpose) as an opportunity. When Browne reacted to getting kneed in the junk by dropping his hands and looking to the ref, Kongo immediately throws a hook when he knows his hands are lowered.

Dirty Tactics.

damn html

Good point. Not only does he use the offensive eye poke but in this fight against Browne, Kongo claimed he'd been poked in the eye himself. Ref Goddard (IIRC) called him on it and he immediately returned to the fight.

Guy's a damn cheat and there's no two ways about it. When will the UFC/AC's recognise this and can anything be done about it?

LOL ... why is this addressed to Joe Rogan?

Got caught up in the moment. As I was watching the fight I recorded I was up in arms about Rogan saying that Kongo was committing "blatant foul[s]" and thought that if it was easily apparent to a commentator,

WHY WAS IT NOT APPARENT AS CHEATING TO THE REF WHO REMOVED KONGO'S GRIP FROM BROWNE'S SHORTS TWICE (!!) AFTER DEDUCTING A POINT??

everyone watching wanted them to fight it out, the ref knew, so he bent the rules a tad and didnt dq kongo.

overall a draw seemed fair to me.

Kongo's got nothing on Dirty Bob Schrijber.

I think Joe went as far as joe could. It's not his job to be the ref and it's not his job to decide how fouls are skewed in a fight.

I just hope we never have to watch another Kongo fight. Forget dirty...he's boring.

I've had enough of Cheat Kongo's fights.

LMFAO @ the antichrist of sportsmanship

Don't act like its just Kongo! Bisping kicked Akiyama square in the nets early in the fight because he saw Akimyama's footwork was too much for him. Akiyama was bouncing around, looking crisp. Dropped Bisping w/ first punch, after nut shot #1 his footwork slowed, he start plodding around and standing still. After nut shot #2 he couldn't even walk.

Any guy knows after a good nut shot you don't feel right, or have your legs beneath you for a while.

There needs to be more done about that, it can win/lose fights. And the fighters feel obligated to hurry, they should take thier time and get 10 min.
