That was an awesome fight. A good old school freak show fight.
People can criticize it all they want. The reason you never see people gas that hard is that they throw in the towel and go down / out before it gets to that. They both fought as hard as they possibly could.
Certainly not the highest level of fighting. Lol. But a good fight nonetheless.

Sapp tried freakin hard there. Good for him. I bet he got paid a ton for the fight, and so didn't stop early early.

I always wondered why he doesnt bet on himself since the odds would be astronomical after all the times he's quit after the first time he gets hit. The opponent would expect an easy win so wouldnt train as hard or come in expecting a hard fight. Instead Sapp comes at them like a bull and mauls them unexpectedly. Collect winnings and go on vacation.

Kimbo vs sapp was even funnier. Holding the ropes with 1 hand to keep yourself standing (cause of exaustion) and swinging with the other hand..
People will shout me down but there was a time when Sapp was a legit scary fucker. When he first started out, he actually tried to win fights and was pretty damn successful for having no real skills other than size and steroids.
Within a few months training he had stopped Hoost and not long into his MMA career put a beating on Nog. The nerds on this place back then would be PISSED and say the only reason he won was because of roids, as if everyone else back then wasn't using them too.

This is true.
Which is why Sapp remains one of Nog’s great wins – despite what he became later.
Sapp is a good example of how physical realities work, in more ways than one.
