“I’m not going to say anything bad on Brock, because Brock is doing all the right things, [but] my sights are set on Brock. I’m not saying I want to fight him because he’s ‘the wrestling guy.’ I’m saying it because I am a heavyweight fighter and he’s the champ.”

thats a fight i'm waiting to see, and all of the ufc see fans

Does Lashley have comparable (collegiate) wrestling skills? If not, he has no chance.

Well, he's not going to find him in TNA.

I think he has great potential, but he's posing with statements like that when he's signing for pro-wrestling orgs.

Wonderful freakshow fight,sign it.

he's also fought four times in the last 8 months.

we shall see, that fight seems a long way away

3 time WWE champ vs 1 time ECW champ. Bobby is out gunned.

Brock beat Heath Herring, Randy Couture and Frank Mir within his first 5 fights.

Lashley's 2 biggest wins have been over Jason Guida and Bob Sapp.

Now I'm not saying that Lashley won't have a chance against Brock sometime down the road, but their resumes aren't even comparable at this point in time. I don't know why Lashley is even thinking about Brock at this stage of his career.

Why not? Brock wandered into the UFC and got paid more to lose his first match in a few minutes than most UFC fighters get to win in their first five fights combined. He was given a title shot with a single UFC win over an unranked opponent and a 2-1 total MMA record.

Why, I ask you, should Lashlet not be looking at Brock? Given Dana's attitude, Lashley could probably walk into the UFC right now and make a few hundred grand even if he never wins a fight.

People shouldnt be counting out Lashley especially since he's basically exactly the same as Brock before he joined the UFC.

I think Lashley has great potential and I think he could even give Brock a run for his money.
