Boetsch: I'll fight Anderson eventually

Boetsch: I'll fight Anderson eventually

"A lot of fighters out there are," Boetsch said. "They think of him as an invincible superhero. If you're thinking that way about your opponent, you've already lost. I think that's what happens to a lot of guys. They lose that fight before they even get in the cage with him."

That's not the case with Sonnen. He was less than two minutes from a likely decision over Silva in August 2010 before succumbing to a triangle-armbar submission. If he employs a similar game plan in the rematch, Sonnen might be able to pull off the upset. Boetsch won't be rooting for him, though.

"I want Anderson to hold onto that belt until I get there," Boetsch said. "He is obviously a legend in the sport already. That being said, everybody has to lose eventually and I want to be the guy to take that belt from him. That's been a dream of mine for a long time."

I don't even think AS would need that minute or so feeling out process. Brutal KO 1st minute Phone Post

Who cares. I'd rather spend time playing video games the night of this fight. If anything I'll watch the free version if I remember.

As of right now chael is the last relevant mw for Anderson's , and
After the fight everyone will be jumping off the sonnen bandwagon after Anderson is done with him... Yet there's talent like Weidman but he's no way ready for silva yet ...... Silva's next fight has to be against gsp and should retire after that ... If he keeps competing he's gonna be fight guys like bisping who just lost to chael and Munoz who is talented but wouldn't trouble Anderson a lot ..... Then the haters will say he spent last few years of his career fattening his record ..personally I'd live to see him fight on and retire as champ , but his style of fighting does not age well and sooner or later it will catch up to him

Cmon guys, its the requisite "I will take Silva" and explain why HE'S finally gonna do what guys havent been able since sometime back in '04 (not counting the Okami fight), so he can feel good about his chances. He knows as well as we do he'll be lucky to be concious outside of 2 rounds.... Phone Post

in over his head

Okami was outclassing and lighting him up for a long ass time. Anderson would only need 30 seconds to put that broseph away Phone Post

Anderson would destroy him easy in 1 round

This. Silva would destroy him. Phone Post

 Good he is showing confidence.

3 fight win streak, 2 decisions and one come from behind where he was clearly being beaten.

If Anderson sticks around and Tim keeps winning he may fight the man.

Yeah right! Phone Post

Maybe this one..

I just did a legit spit take at MJF's "I banged Dallas's Daughter" shirt. The guy is absolutely tremendous

You'd probably have to fight his bf too. But I like ur odds. Phone Post

Boetsch has a lot of power and good wrestling... Anderson isn't going to lose to anyone but that kind of a fighter. I wouldn't say I like Tim's chances or anything, but give him a break. He's working his way there. Phone Post

Tim Hague will wait in line at a club before Tim Boetsch gets to the front of the line to meet Anderson Silva in a fight. Phone Post

I read the article as "I'll get knocked out by Anderson eventually."

Lets be honest, this fight wont and should never happen.
