Guess he did... I think it's awesome they are both going in together. Without that season of TUF and that fight, most people on this message board might not be here.
It's just too early. I'm only 23 and I watched both of their UFC debuts live. That doesn't happen in other sports. 
I can understand Forrest going in, former champion, a few big name wins, but Bonnar on the otherhand? Dude popped twice in his two big fights. Not to mention his best win is over Kyle Kingsbury.. I don't feel one fight warrants a hall of fame spot. But starting a clothing company warrants it apparently so at least Bonnar left us with some fun fights.

Arturo Gatti is being inducted into the IBHOF in June.
Micky Ward is NOT.
The Ward-Gatti trilogy were definitely better fights than Bonnar-Griffin and both guys achieved a modicum of warrior status on their own so when they met it was amazing.
Putting Bonnar in is like the IBHOF putting Micky Ward in.
You don't put a guy in the HOF because he was in a big fight.
You put him in because he WON big fights.
Bonnar never won a big fight and is not a HOF'er no matter how hard you try.

I disagree with that.
If that fight did not happen, who knows what happens with TUF.
Who knows if Spike picks it up again or what happens.
Look at ratings from that episode and how many people tuned in as that fight was happening.
No one really knows what would of happened but I think it's safe to say a chunk of people would not be here if it wasn't for that fight.

Bonnar/Griffin helped establish the sport.
Ward/Gatti was just a great series of fights in boxing.
Theres a huge difference between the two.
