The film arrives in select theaters, on Digital, and On Demand on January 22, 2021. It is directed by Alex Ranarivelo (American Wrestler: The Wizard, The Ride), and written by Flanery and Ranarivelo.

Cheers for that.

Looks heaps better than Under Siege.

I liked.

They should have had this guy in Kobra Kai

Follow Sean on IG.  He actually seems like a good guy and isn’t a Hollywood nut job.

I'm watching this now. It's a real homage to bjj and even references the UG (not by name).

Man.....

ezpextations are super low (no disrespect to Sean).

i can’t think of any MMA movie that’s been more than just “entertaining”.  It’s always the same plot…  guy gets roped into (or has to) fight to support his family, atone for some past tragedy, etc, etc.

I know how you feel. That's why I never bothered with Kingdom. But when I watched it, it was awesome. This will be awesome.

Thats the nature of a trope but in this case there is no atonement. It's a good character, and great co-stars. There's a a slight Hank to the plot BUT the story is mostly based on stories and legends we've read of on the UG. It's definitely easily watchable.

I don’t want to sound like a sourpuss, I just always get my hopes up.
